Pietro and the Avengers converge on the Sentinel base, learning that the Sentinel plan is to sterilize humanity and grow a new, mutant-free human race to replace it. They do not have the power to defeat the Sentinel in charge of the project, and so may be doomed to see the fortold end of the world.
