In this fill-in issue published during the Black Lama saga, Tony Stark thinks back to a time in Vietnam, in which one of his weapons was being tested. Sadly, the soldiers out in the field for the test were attacked by troops trying to destroy the weapon. All lives on both sides were lost in the conflict, save only for Iron Man and a blind Vietcong boy he found. He eventually brought the boy to safety, but this experience was one of the reasons he got out of munitions and into the manufacture of other technologies.
