Learning that his workers are on a strike instigated by a man named Gene Kahn, Tony dons his Iron Man armor to learn more about the situation. When he confronts Kahn, he learns that this is an alias for the Mandarin, who has regained his lost power rings. A pitched battle ensues, with no clear victor found. Mandarin decides they are too evenly matched, and the issue ends with Mandy summoning the Unicorn to his side.
