Beaten almost completely by Dr. Spectrum and his Power Prism, Iron Man barely manages to fight back, and has some help from Roxanne Gilbert and Eddie March. (While this battle rages, Happy and Pepper argue about their relationship, and Happy resorts to revealing Iron Man's secret identity to disillusion his wife.) Eventually, the Power Prism reveals the origin of Dr. Spectrum to Iron Man, which also means filling Iron Man in on his plan. It seems the prism used to be a power hungry Skrull named Krimonn, who was sent to an alternate universe by the Gamemaster to empower Dr. Obatu and join the Squadron Sinister. The Prism isn't happy being bonded to Obatu, and successfully manages to bond to Iron Man instead. Obatu is quickly defeated, and Iron Man starts going on a rampage that initially seems unstoppable. The impact of a well known uru hammer announces the presence of Thor, who has come to stop Iron Man, not knowing that it is no longer his friend in control of the armour.
