The Hulk reveals the fates of Valkyrie and Namor to the remaining Defenders. Dr. Strange and Silver Surfer take steps to remove the Red Ghost's mental control of their friends in time to stop the invasion of Atlantis. Their next stop is to try and cure Dane Whitman. Dormammu and Loki intercept a message, altering it in the process, and begin the chain of events that will eventually be known as the Avengers / Defenders War.
