"The Brave Die Hard!" - reprinted from Strange Tales Vol. 1 #139 - Fury is a prisoner of Hydra, and the only sympathetic individual he meets is Hydra Special Agent G, daughter of the Imperial Hydra, who claims to want to help him. Fury breaks himself out of his cell, and tries to escape with her help. Meanwhile, Dum Dum and Gabe are leading a resuce effort, using the reverse engineered flight path of the captured Hydra Ram. "The End Of Hydra!" - reprinted from Strange Tales Vol. 1 #140 - Fury and Hydra Agent G break out of captivity and join their rescue team. They subdue Hydra's Tiger squad of trained assassins, while Tony Stark pilots the Brain-o-saur to disarm the Betatron Bomb. They start to celebrate victory, little suspecting that the Imperial Hydra had a contingency plan at the ready "Operation: Brain Blast!" - reprinted from Strange Tales Vol. 1 #141 - Hydra is defeated and cleaned up, with some of their agents accidentally eliminating their own commander. Afterwards, Agent G makes a daring escape with some subtle help from Nick Fury. Things are calming down when Nick learns of a former S.H.I.E.L.D. operative who can read minds, and he realizes how dangerous the man can truly be.
