Every year the Justice League, and the Justice Society from Earth-2 meet. Usually this is to tackle some menace that neither team would be able to handle alone, but they try to make these meetings social events as well. This year, held aboard the Justice League's satellite headquarters, Mr. Teriffic from Earth-2 makes a scene, feeling that the other heroes feel he's too old to fight crime. He disappears shortly after making some cryptic remarks, but is later found murdered. Someone aboard the satellite is a killer.
